Resident Expert: Child Stars

Look at this guy.

Look at him and tell me he isn't hot.

That's right, you can't do it, can you?

Does he remind you of this?

May I introduce Nicholas Hoult, of "About a Boy" fame?

And how about this cutie?

He's Jamie Bell from "Billy Elliot".

And finally, someone I hope you all recognize...

Joseph Gordon Levitt. "Third Rock From the Sun", anyone?

I could probably devote an entire RE post to him.

Have a good weekend, everyone :)

You're silly, make sure you get some writing done this weekend.

P.s. (500) Days of Summer is my favorite movie of 2009.

Also, Nicholas Hoult could totally play Sam from Shiver!

All three of these young men have show a remarkable versatility in the parts they've played. You can add Emile Hirsch, Paul Dano, and Freddie Highmore to the list.

Sorry!

Have you ever noticed how JGL resembles Heath Ledger? I saw pictures of them side by side on another blog and it's really eerie.

Jon: *gasp* You're right! I totally see him as Sam!!!

Wally: Ooh, list extendage!

Natalie: *faints* WHAT?! I'll let you slide this time.

Shannon: You too!

Melissa: They DO look similar! I've never seen it before.

Sarah: I thought 500 Days of Summer was okay. The music was awesome, though.

How was that movie just okay? I love Zooey (who happens to be married to Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie the one that also created The Postal Service and has yet to revisit that project!!).

She plays her part perfectly!
JGL does as well.

I definitely love Zooey and Ben, there's no question. 500 Days of Summer had great acting and it was shown in an interesting way, but I didn't really like the story itself.

These are awesome! It's crazy how fast kids in Hollywood grow up. It's like time moves faster or something.
